The Search Marketing Specialist will be responsible for execution of Pay Per Click (PPC) and other Search Engine Marketing (SEM) activities for Webs.com and Pagemodo.com properties. The Specialist will work with the Acquisition and Marketing teams to deliver, expand, and optimize online traffic acquisition through paid and organic channels.
Candidates with 1-3 years of PPC experience preferred, but recent graduates with stellar academic performance in a highly analytical field will also be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Directly manage Webs' seven figure PPC budget
- Develop and maintain keyword lists for PPC and SEO campaigns
- Test and optimize PPC campaigns to expand reach and improve ROI
- Develop and maintain relationships with search engines
- Work with Marketing team to develop ad copy, content, and other creative needs and recommendations for optimization of Display campaigns
- Identify opportunities in SEO and make recommendations to improve organic results by leveraging PPC efforts
- Track and report on all PPC and SEO efforts
- Work with team to establish and achieve budget and traffic goals for all efforts
- Execute regular competitive research and gap analysis with industry tools
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong interest in acquiring skills in online marketing
Desired Qualifications Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Google Adwords experience (Adwords certified a big plus)
- Google Analytics experience a plus
- General HTML knowledge a plus
- B2C marketing experience a plus
