Seat Mechanism Lead Designer Job in Mojave, California US
Title: Seat Mechanism Design Lead
Reports to: Head of Design
Purpose: The purpose of this role is to support concept design process
by devising moving-part structural systems that support custom-designed
seats and cabin elements that we are developing. This will include the
evolution of mechanism concepts, the definition, construction and
refinement of virtual real-world mechanism prototypes, and engineering
development through manufacture and entry into service.

Manage the delivery of real-world working prototypes to prove design and
test potential components
Demonstrate safety and reliability of system through test
Demonstrate finalized design ready for manufacture
Working prototype successfully demonstrates all criteria met, prototypes
produced on time within budgets
Testing proves system to meet all reliability requirements
Finalized design proven ready to manufacture
