SEC Accountant
The SEC Accountant will ensure SEC filings comply with GAAP and SEC requirements. This position will also assist in formulating the monthly financial statements presented to the CFO and other top management staff. This position is located in Lake Zurich and will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities
- Create monthly/quarterly payment distribution
- Produce earnings release financial supplement
- Month-end consolidation
- Perform profit and loss analysis, variance analysis
- Analyze and review various invoices to ensure appropriate General Ledger coding
- Prepare various month/quarter-end journal entries
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum 5 years of experience preferred
- CPA a plus
- 3-4 years SEC Reporting experience
- Excellent Excel skills essential
- Ability to succeed in a deadline driven environment
- Possess strong multi-tasking and organizational capabilities
