SEC Reporting Manager/Sr. Manager Job in Foster City 94404, California Us

QuinStreet is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our Financial team. The SEC Reporting Manager/Sr. Manager will be responsible for the following:

 

·         Take an ownership role in the preparation of the SEC filings (e.g., Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and earnings release.

·         Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SOX controls and procedures. Manage and actively coordinate planning, executing and reporting of operational and financial internal audits.

·         Collaborate with other groups and/or departments to assess the reporting implications of changes in US GAAP, ensure compliance with new and/or amended standards/ interpretations, coordinate changes with other groups and/or departments, and extract the necessary information for financial reporting.

·         Liaise with other departments - including accounting, investor relations, tax, management reporting, and other business areas - including legal, human resources and operations.

·         Lead technical research and provide guidance to the financial reporting department and other Finance departments. 

·         Collaborate with other groups and/or departments to assess the reporting implications of changes in US GAAP, ensure compliance with new and/or amended standards/ interpretations, coordinate changes with other groups and/or departments, and extract the necessary information for financial reporting.

·         Assist in the development of QuinStreet’s Financial Reporting Policies and Standards, and ensure that they are in compliance with US GAAP

·         Identify developmental areas and propose solutions aimed at improving the process by which information is collected, analyzed, and controlled.

·         Present technical accounting issues and suggest resolutions to senior management.

Experience and Education:

 

·         Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP and reporting standards.

·         A minimum of 7 years of related work experience, including at least 5 years of Public Accounting experience.

·         BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting.

·         CPA is required.
