We are currently seeking a Secret cleared Systems Security Engineer for our client in Bethesda, Maryland. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity that absolutely requires candidates to possess an active Secret clearance at the barest minimum. The Secret cleared Systems Security Engineer will be responsible for performing security engineering tasks in a structured team environment.
Required Skills:
- Experience patch management using SCCM, must have in-depth knowledge building MSI packages ready for deployment.
- Previous experience in deploying any DHCP technology for a large enterprise environment, preferably with 5k or above DHCP scope, Understanding Subnetting, ip relay/Helper, ability to troubleshoot DHCP scope from client to servers.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic to intermediate hands-on account management for Active Directory users, computers, groups and service account.
- Maintain LDAP authentication service for Servers.
- Installing and maintaining Windows 2003, 2008, and Linux base operating systems.
- Hands-on creating basic technical documentation for servers and applications.
- Windows networking knowledge TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and firewall concepts.
- Hands-on basic group policy management and implementation.
- Basic knowledge on windows patching and update.
- In depth managing Microsoft windows shares, require previous experience managing Microsoft windows DFS servers and
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with DOD security implementation is preferred.
- Other DHCP technology from Microsoft, Barracuda, and Bluecoat can be a substitute.
- Other patch management such as LANDesk, Kace skill set can be a substitute.
- Experience in patching SQL and Linux servers is highly preferable.
