Secured Funding Supervisor

The role forms a ke part of the European Treasury team based in Cardiff. Reporting to the European Controller, the Funding Desk Supervisor will be responsible for carrying out the accounting for securitisation, analysing, reviewing and issuing investor reports. Other activities also include liaising with Banks, external auditors and other third party service providers on securitisation-related issues.

Supervising the funding desk team. Ensuring tasks and responsibilities are completed on a prompt and accurate basis.
Managing the bank reporting obligations of complex securitisation transactions for various asset classes including monthly investor reporting and performing key annual activities
Liaising with banking counterparts in the maintenance of the securitisation funding programs
Managing the team responsible for financial reporting and accounting for securitisation transactions in the books of the European entities.
Working with local European entities accounting teams to fulfill local regulatory requirements
Liaise with in-country accounting teams and operations
Modelling funding used for cash flow forecasting.
Assisting the SPV (special purpose vehicle) with regulatory reporting
Analysis of asset portfolios in existing and new structured finance transactions.
Reviewing programs for capacity and maximizing efficiency in transactions.
Ensuring the team develop and streamline reporting for Senior Management – to communicate funding efficiency
Supporting the re-platforming project
Understanding and promoting company policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
To ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations that may govern the UK Plc business and complete all regulatory knowledge training where applicable in a timely fashion.

Skills/qualifications:
Graduate with a relevant finance or accounting qualification
Staff supervision and developing a small team
Demonstrate experience in corporate treasury/finance, banking, auditing or accounting environment
Experience of SAP advantageous
Familiarity with GAAP in Europe/North America or knowledge of IFRS
Experience with US GAAP preferable
Previous securitisation experience advantageous
