Securities, Commodities Management Team, Analyst
Commodities Management supports trading and sales leadership in driving the commercial success of the business. The team is looking for an analyst to help support their initiatives. Candidate should be motivated with a strong academic track-record, and an interest in learning about Commodities and financial analysis.
Team Areas of Focus:
• Conduct analysis to inform leadership about client trends, business drivers and overall revenue levels
• Lead special projects that identify and propel commercial opportunities for the desk
• Coordinate projects across multiple teams in the Federation, including Legal, Compliance, Technology, Strategists, Operations
• Investigate where high-impact change is taking place across the space – evaluating those opportunities for the desk
Examples of the team’s projects include: Driving business initiatives in new products or regions, reengineering businesses along new firm mandates or regulatory structures, desk budgeting and business planning, analyzing business metrics.
Experience Required
• Degree educated ideally in a mathematical discipline
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects
• Competency in Excel and Powerpoint required
• Desire to learn about financial services and the commodities business
