Securities Lending Accounting Associate recruitment
We
BlackRock's Securities Lending Accounting is a global team supporting all regions and providing borrower settlements, month-end close, and management reporting functions for the Securities Lending business across the globe. We are sourcing for a SL Accounting Associate that will be engaged in the accounting, analysis and reporting of securities lending and cash management revenues. The position will be in communication with the accounting personnel from external fund custodians and will work closely with the Trading and Operations teams within the Securities Lending business.
Responsibilities
- Report and distribute securities lending revenues to fund custodians and lending agents
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Reconcile cash and receivables accounts
- Prepare and distribute relevant management reporting analytics
- Engage in various revenue-related accounting and analysis projects
- Document, maintain, and update policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 4-5 years work experience in finance/accounting field preferred
- College degree (BS/BA) preferably in Finance/Accounting/Business
- Strong computer skills, including Oracle and advanced Excel
- Attention to detail and an ability to contribute in a team environment are critical
- Effective communication skills, systematic thinking, efficiency, quality control and striving for constant improvement
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize own work
- Knowledge of the financial services industry preferred
