Securities Lending Product Manager

Responsible for developing and managing the product management process, including driving new product and product expansion initiatives for Securities Lending area. Works closely with partners and ensures projects and statues are in line with strategic priorities.

1. Responsible for making recommendations on products that go through New Business Review process

2. Ensures success of initiatives by driving workflow across internal and external groups, managing scope, recognizing and resolving issues, managing and motivating project team, managing resource constraints and demonstrating flexibility

3. Oversees the product offerings fulfill the legal, statutory and regulatory requirements in each market where sold, managing any required changes. Communicates to relevant business unit areas as appropriate

4. Develops an understanding of Securities Lending local and/or global regulatory, legal, tax and compliance requirements to ensure adherence within the and/or business unit processes

5. Builds and leverages relationships across the Corporation and externally to represent and advocate for the Securities Lending product

6. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise

7. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities

8. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues

9. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. In-depth knowledge and experience with Securities Lending is required. Highly flexible and adaptable to change is required. Negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills are required. Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office) is required
