Securities Processing Manager recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of pricing and reference data Subject Matter Specialists (SME) business as usual (BAU) production processing spanning across 2-3 rotational shifts in a day.
- Proactive and good problem solver.
- Liaise with sales, custody operation, fund accountants and clients for new major implementation and work closely with assigned client executive and implementation managers to review and deliver client's requirements.
- Collaborate and work closely with other pricing utility in EMEA and NA to identify productivity saves and greater synergy between the teams.
- Ensure SMEs in the team are engaged and motivated by lifting their productivity to the optimal level.
- Responsible to promote staff career progression and retention within Citi.
- Responsible for ongoing recruitment process.
- Ensure that service level metrics at each cluster are achieved.
- Provide guidance and leadership in solving daily production issues around security pricing, Corporate Actions entitlement, Foreign Exchange rate conversion and coding of security master reference data and system issues.
- Lead and initiate automation and continuous process improvements.
- Strong advocate and executor in change management.
- Manage internal and external audit process; ensure that internal controls are in place.
- Adhere to Citi controls and compliance including review of control self-assessment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business with a professional accounting qualification of CPA or CA.
- At least 7 years of working experience in financial services industry with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in security pricing, reference data coding, FX conversion and Corporate Actions entitlement and fund accounting.
- Working knowledge of Multifonds Systems will be an advantage, preferably in Pricing Module.
- Good working knowledge of Bloomberg or Interactive Data Corporation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective people management skills.
- Able to solve problems, work effectively, set priorities and organize time among numerous demands, with initiative, creativity, resourcefulness and analytical ability.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and able manage information flows between multiple stakeholders.
