The Role

The Individual

The company expects strong academic performance, candidates should preferably have a 2:1 degree or better in Computer Science, Engineering, Security or related disciplines from a top university

The candidate should have 2 to 4 years prior experience in Security Administration. He or she should be thorough, methodical, and able to quickly understand and learn new technologies. The candidate must be able to prove his or her interest in the role, willingness and commitment to work in and learn different aspects of information security.

The role requires good working knowledge and exposure to technologies used in IT infrastructure, such as, Windows Active Directory, Databases, and Backups along with excellent scripting (Powershell and Perl) skills to automate the jobs and advance the security framework. The company will provide quality training to fill knowledge gaps (within reason) for the deserving candidate with excellent intellectual abilities.

Experience of implementing security technologies and analysing IT Infrastructure from a security point of view would be advantageous, as would a solid understanding of networking principles and practical network considerations

Compensation

Salary and compensation package will depend on experience and the skills the candidate has to offer but will be in line with expectations at a top-flight financial institution.
