While the position is primarily US based, we have many offices around the world for foreign workers. Key Responsibilities: · Responsible for ensuring tools comply with all corporate operational and security standards and procedures. · Provide technical guidance to the various project / operations teams for responsible technology to ensure customer / operational requirements, operational standards, support model delivery and adherence to security and architectural roadmaps. · Assist in Project Forecasting, Budget and Expense Management as needed. · Communicate periodically with Customers, Shared services, and Operations counterparts. · Manage Application Hosting sponsored projects. · Manage continuous development of operational and tactical standards, processes, procedures. · Participate in activities to stay abreast of information technology trends and developments · Be involved in Corporate Teams and be the advocate for Application Hosting standards and processes. · Member of critical event as needed Skills: At least two or three of the following major technologies under Application Hosting umbrella: · BMC Blade Logic · Various system, web, and DB monitoring tools including Wily and OEM · Siteminder · Sun One LDAP · OEM Ops Center · Microsoft Active Directory · Beyond Trust Power Broker · Experience in the following the activities: · Service Requests · Engineering and Development · Inventory · Capacity management (Planning / Forecasting) · Technology Roadmaps. · Execution of technology roadmap. · Supplier and Vendor Management. · License management. · Patches and upgrade to technologies. Experience and Education: · Number of years of experience here (example: 2-5 years demonstrated hands-on experience within the engineering discipline using scientific based hypotheses and process based engineering component development.) · Degree required here (example: Bachelors degree level in Electrical/ Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.) · Additional training or experience here (example: CAD and CAE experience) Compensation and Benefits: Compensation: Base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
