Security Engineer

CIBER is currently seeking an IT Security Engineer in Eden Prairie, MN to be responsible for implementation of security devices and operational management of the following devices in the our company's environments in Boston and Aurora. This person will manage and be responsible for a broad spectrum of security devices and services including RSA Envision, Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP), nCircle Compliance Scanner, Security Risk Management and Analysis. This person will perform security event/incident management, be the technical security lead on projects from a security perspective. These are critical functions to ensure compliance with Information Risk Management policies and thus prevent negative impact to business operations as a result of non-compliance. Responsibilities Include: Lead for security projects and provide level 2 support for security devices. Ensuring compliance with IRM policies through scans of all infrastructure systems on a regular basis. Perform scans of any new infrastructure implementation (servers etc.), access reviews and firewall changes. Member of change approval board (CAB) and review all changes from a security and policy compliance perspective. With limited to no supervision, perform all activities required to ensure the safety of information assets. Implement and maintain proper security technologies to facilitate in the identification, remediation and/or mitigation of security threats and vulnerabilities. Design, develop and recommend integrated enterprise security solutions. Define security requirements for segment project teams to ensure that security is built in to projects from the beginning. Provide strategic security vision for the enterprise, and facilitate cross-department architecture reviews. Facilitate assessment of compliance activities, ensuring that all regulatory and corporate objectives are met. Assess and identify security threats and vulnerabilities across the enterprise, and provide recommended remediation, reporting and analysis to appropriate teams. Support internal and external audit teams in relation to information security initiatives. Identify emerging security solutions, and perform technical evaluations of products. Qualifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CSSLP, SSCP or equivalent industry certification 4+ years in Information Security discipline in security operations role (log reviews, incident response and management, process development and implementation etc.). 8+ years in Information Technology. Ability to work with remote teams. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Assets: Healthcare or finance industry experience. Experience in implementing security controls to meet compliance requirements. Data Center Consolidation experience. - 6+ Years Networking concepts and technology. Experience in these products (in order of preference) is a distinct advantage: Symantec Vontu (DLP), nCircle IP360, nCircle Configuration Compliance Manager, nCircle Security Intelligence Hub, Iron Port C 160, Iron Port S 160, RSA envision, RSA SecurID, Websense, Symantec Security Expressions. 5+ Years vulnerability management concepts and technology. 4+ Years Log monitoring, SIEM, Compliance monitoring. Exposure to ITIL, ISO, SDLC. 7+ Years Endpoint security controls, encryption, AV, NAC, DLP, Content Filtering. (#6) Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrixed environment. Process oriented and strong documentation skills.
