Security Engineer Job in New Bedford, Massachusetts Us
Job Details:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience required. Masters degree in Computer Science preferred. CISSP preferred. Firewall experience with Checkpoint and Cisco required. Strong security background in network/systems/physical security, authentication, authorization and usability. Deep Knowledge of network-based and system-level attacks and mitigation methods. Minimum five years experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, Information Security Incident Management Systems and analyzing security for systems and applications (Penetration testing, web application security testing, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, etc) required. Deploy/Configure/Maintain-enterprise-wide firewall policies, vlan layer-2 security, server and workstation secure images, two-factor authentication, various encryption ciphers, RDBMS security, etc. Prepare the organization to respond in a swift effective manner to various security breaches that may occur, creating an incident response plan. Help the organization build and map their policies to various technologies to help maintain various regulatory and legal requirements.
