SECURITY GUARD 1
Safeguard, patrol and police premises to protect property and personnel against fire, theft, vandalism, intrusion and other man-made or natural hazards. Examine credentials and/or property of persons entering or departing facilities. Guard entrances and exits to prevent theft of company property. Observe and report suspicious or unusual circumstances and violations. Basic Qualifications: 21+ years of age, 6+ months security experience and licensed as Security Officer. Minimum Qualifications: 1) The possession of a California Guard Card license is required. 2) We work a flex schedule. Team Members have to be able to work variable 8 hour shifts (there can be five different start times in a week), 24 hours seven days a week, totaling 40 hours per week. When working Sunday or Saturday a day in the week (Monday through Thursday) is taken off so that members only work five days a week. Overtime is mandatory at times but infrequent dependent on staffing levels, holidays and vacations. 3) A background check has to be completed and passed before an offer or acceptance of employment can be finalized. 4) Candidates must be able to pass the background check and if not licensed, be able to obtain a 9mm weapons permit in/for the state of California. 5) The position is located in the downtown Los Angeles area.
