Security Guards Job in Poole bh122bg, South West UK
We are currently looking for a couple of security guards to join an existing team at a Bournemouth based employer.
Applicants do not necessarily need to be SIA accredited but this would be advantageous, training will be given on site specific duties. The hours of work are likely to be rotating between and afternoon shift and a night shift Monday to Friday.
Some expected duties are listed below:
• Must be able to effectively follow and give directions
• Ideally have first-aid and/or CPR certification
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time - take out
• Must be able to complete required paperwork to report abnormalities or incidents
• Needs to be able to communicate to drivers, other employees and contractors in a clear manner.
• To deter crime or detect crimes in action - without risk of harm
• To assist law enforcement with investigations when needed
• To call for paramedics or law enforcement help when needed
• To investigate alarms going off or other alerts
• To have an understanding of and implement emergency preparedness plans, including the evacuation of buildings
• To perform checks on windows, doors, gates, and other areas that trespassers may use to gain illegal access
• To take the appropriate steps to correct anything that may be considered a security or safety hazard
• Must have good computer literacy
