Security Officer
- Vescom Corporation is looking for a part time security officer for our account located in Corrigan, Texas.
- Pay is $8.50 to start with scheduled increases.
- Position is part time, 25 hours per week, plus fill in when needed. Based on performance could lead to full time when openings occur. Current scheduled hours are Fri, Sat, 11p-7a, and Sun 11p-8a.
- Part time employees earn vacation time and time and one half for worked holidays.
- Must be able and willing to work varied shifts/weekends/holidays, schedule will be discussed during interview.
- Paid training and Uniforms provided.
- Applicant must pass background check and drug test.
Requirements include:
Must be or become licensed by Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
18 years or older
Clean Criminal History
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are conducted
Must have good communication skills, basic computer skills, be observant and alert, able to follow directions and able to meet the physical demands of the position. Prior security experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right applicant in the responsibilities of this position.
