This is an industrial site/truck gate environment. Provide access control; inspect vehicles; review documentation. Provide transportation for employees around the facility. Direct trucks to loading dock. Provide access control and asset protection. Patrol or staff post to serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions. Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post which may be a threat to the property, client or employees. Report all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies. Respond to emergencies, such as medical and bomb threats; and to alarms, such as fire and intrusion by following emergency response proceedings. All candidates are drug tested and fingerprinted. The attendance policy is strict. If an Officer calls off, leaves early or arrives late to work, they receive a write up. Any Officer who receives 4 write ups in 90 days is terminated. Officers are not permitted to use personal electronic devices, smoke or read while working. Must be able to sit, stand, walk or climb stairs up to 8 hours in all extreme weather conditions. Strong customer service. Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
