Description: Under direct supervision, patrols assigned area either on foot or with a patrol vehicle to ensure protection of clients, visitors, property and equipment. Controls and monitors access in and out of assigned sites and monitors burglar and fire alarms as required.
General Duties:
* Patrol assigned area on foot or motor vehicle, as assigned, to endure personal, building, and equipment security.
* Examine door, windows, and gates to ensure security; uses client keys to open and close buildings; monitor closed buildings for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activity.
* Informs and warns violators of rules infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
* Provide escort services as necessary
* Watches for and reports irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
* Remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons nd/or security code violators and notifies authorities as required.
* Completes routine and standardized reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
* May provide specialized security in complex operational areas, requiring specific knowledgable of the operating environment.
* Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
*Able to complete job assigned based on the client's needs.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
18 years of age (21 for Armed)
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
No Criminal Record
Mandatory Drug Screen
Personal Transportation Driver's License
CLEAN MVR PREFERRED
