Job Title and Responsibilities
We are offering you the position of Service Specialist. Your primary responsibilities will be:
· Access Control and CCTV experience required.
· Lenel (Master or Platinum) certification desired.
· Plan, coordinate, manage and execute all the technical aspects of assigned service accounts including: service systems to the customer and our specifications, customer training, close out documentation and on-going technical support. As well as test and inspect of existing equipment
· Set up and configure IP based video surveillance and access systems with all related network equipment (servers, clients, routers, firewalls, switches and VPN’s), identify and resolve network performance problems. Perform software upgrades and installations.
· Identify potential risks, communicate to appropriate parties and assist in the development and implementation of strategies to minimize the impact to the customer
· Working closely with the Account Engineer to assist in the overall coordination of specific tasks, make recommendations regarding quality of work and potential scope change and identify ways to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
· Using technical knowledge, skills and experience, act as mentor to other Service Specialists.
· Since one of your primary responsibilities will be to represent Convergint Technologies as security professional we are going to require you to receive the following certifications and credentials:
o Lenel Gold Certification at minimum
o Safety training per customer specification
o Proper licenses in the state or states you will be working in.
o To achieve above certifications, Convergint will provide training material and courses necessary to be successful.
o Since some work will commence within Industrial and/or MTSA (Maritime Transportation Safety Act) regulated facilities, this candidate will be required to obtain a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
· Some travel will be required.
