Position Summary: Develops, implements, coordinates, and controls Corporate, plant, and government security programs, operations, and personnel to ensure the safeguard of employees, classified information/material, corporate assets and personal property in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Joint Air Force Army Navy (JAFAN) Manual. Ensures compliance with Department of Defense (DOD) and corporate policies in providing sensitive government aircraft security.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the direction, planning, administration and control of the Industrial Security functions of the facility to include employee badges, access control, employee security clearances, and classified visits, classified storage and control, maintenance of Facility Clearance standards to include new construction/alterations review for compliance, classified contracts and Government security inspections.
- Directs security measures for proper application of U.S. Government guidelines or specifications for classification, upgrading, downgrading, and safeguarding of classified information. Conducts timely inspections of classified documents.
- Processes, reviews, submits, and maintains the records for company personal government security clearances; submits reports and documentation required by federal, state, and local agencies. ? Assists, advises, and guides all departments regarding security regulations and procedures.
- Performs other duties as needed or as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a DOD security and experience in security supervision
- Department of Defense Security Clearance
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated knowledge of policies and practices as related to Department of Defense, investigation procedures, legal aspects of security, and camera systems
- Ability to work well with a wide range of employees
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
Desired Qualifications: Familiar with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements
