Seeking a full time, dedicated, .Net/C# Developer at VeriTread (Mulberry, FL) (allows remote)
Job Description
We are seeking a full time, dedicated, .Net/C# Developer to help us craft the most innovative online transportation experience available. Our ideal candidate must know how to work smart, work hard, and want to make a real difference.
About You: You're a .NET/C# developer with broad experience and at least 3 years’ experience specifically in .NET. You can work effectively from the database through to the front end. You know your way around SQL Server; you can write an efficient stored procedure and trouble-shoot sluggish queries. You may not be a designer, but you can write responsive CSS and clean jQuery. Most importantly, you have a passion for reliable code and robust architecture and will enjoy the challenge of working on an entrepreneurial team to develop software and deliver integrated solutions for large corporate clients in the transportation and construction industries.
Skills Requirements
Specific roles include:
- Applying IT skills to web applications in ASP.NET
- Designing, developing, testing and maintaining web applications using databases and web services.
- Supporting our platform, resolving bugs, errors, etc.
- Collaborating with other software development teams.
- Conferring with management to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, and choose solutions.
You must be adept with our current technology stack (although we're open to evolving in new directions in the future):
- Web Forms
- WCF Services
- Entity Framework
- LINQ
- Telerik
- Git
Bonus points for familiarity with the following:
- Deploying applications with TeamCity
- Developing iPhone and/or Android mobile apps
General requirements:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Aggressive, entrepreneurial, team player
- Self-directed, organized, and extremely attentive to details
- (Bonus points) Ability to work onsite at our office in the Lakeland, Florida area as much as possible
