Seeking well rounded IT professional for Web and Social media Development Job in New York 10001, New York Us
A unique opportunity exists for the right individual. The Everett Collection is one of the world's great entertainment Historical image archives. We are seeking a new hire with the right blend of skills. We need someone with sound technical support experience, as well as elements of web design and Social Media marketing.
As part of a small four person IT team, you would be involved in many elements of keeping the 27 person company running. There is an assigned System Admin, but the technical abilities to provide backup and run some processes will be a requirement. As such there will be interaction with staff and clients in a support capacity.
The company is looking to expand its Internet presence into more business to consumer areas.
This includes web sites for public consumption and App development for mobile devices. As such we are looking for an individual who can manage our expanding web properties, as well as provide significant guidance in developing the accompanying social media and related marketing campaigns.
Requirements-
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Strong preference for Word Press, Joomla, or similar content management systems.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of organic SEO and Keyword research.
-Strong preference for candidate with practical social media experience.
-Copy writing experience a plus.
-PHP, Java Script, or similar web programming experience desirable.
-Practical experience with Google Analytics and Adwords a plus.
-Preference given to candidate with well rounded IT background or degree.
