Experience of ION technology and implementation. Strong and proven ability to manage IT development projects (Proven experience managing projects in Front Office environment). MSc (or equivalent) in numerate subject. Working knowledge of flow credit products ideally, though other Fixed Income experience would be considered. Experience of the full software development life cycle. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Role;
The role is for ION specialist Technical Consultant in the Credit Trading IT team. Within Credit IT, the team is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and support of the Credit Real Time pricing system. The asset classes covered by this pricing system are Credit Bonds, FRNs, single-name CDS and Index CDS. The pricing systems are deployed globally in Europe, Americas and Asia; the London team liaises with global support teams to deliver top-tier solutions. The Credit business has ambitious growth targets; hence success in the Credit Pricing area is regarded as essential to help the business succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
Produce roadmap for SEF connectivity and compliance. Resolve problems with ION connected eTrading systems - both pricing and STP issues. Configure and maintain ION MMI. Manage upgrades of ION gateways including testing and stake holder signoff. Produce implementation plan for project and ensure good communication of progress.
