Semiconductor Cleanroom Facilities Engineer (Day) Job in Devon, South West Uk

Our client is currently looking for a facility engineer, day shift, for the semiconductor clean room fab. The main responsibility of the candidate will be the upkeep, development and improvement of the client's site.

The successful candidate will be required to:-
• Take responsibility for the upkeep, development and improvement of the clean-room and other site facilities.
• Work on projects that would create more energy efficient solutions to the companies current operating procedure.
• Complete site improvement projects on time and in budget.
• Keep a high standard of work without interrupting the manufacturing facility/team.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental procedure are kept to the highest standard.
• Be a part of the emergency response team - and liaise with emergency services if necessary.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:-
• Experience with any or all of the following:-
o Project engineering - development, planning and installation.
o Relevant experience with mechanical and electrical engineering or equivalent.
o Familiar with technical drawings, able to interpret, design and implement the use of technical and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of semiconductor tools that include - High purity gas and water systems, Hi-Vacuum systems, pipe work installations, chemical distribution, extract systems, water treatment systems, pumps, motors, compressors, electrical distribution.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Prior experience with electrical facilities engineering.
• A HND in Physics/Engineering - equivalent or better.
