Job description 300mm Semiconductor Research and Development Failure Analysis is seeking Engineers in Development to join our Team of advanced Electrical and Physical Failure analysis experts. The Project supports 300mm SOI/Bulk semiconductor process development and Customer / Product yield learning activities. Engineers in Development are laboratory experts in one or several disciplines that directly support semiconductor development and manufacturing failure analysis. These Engineering positions require an Engineering / BS graduate who has shown aptitude in developing working experiments that involve complex problem solving using adaptive analytical thinking. Preferred: Electrical, Materials, Physics, Mechanical, Chemical or other Scientific Engineering discipline including Computer Science. Previous experience or expertise with (listed) EFA/PFA equipment is highly relevant. Physical and metallurgical analysis and materials analysis lab instrumentation including SEM / FIB / Dual beam FIB / Advanced RIE / Plasma systems and e-beam voltage/specimen contrast. A background in WET chemistries including those used for Silicon, Intra level dielectric and Copper or Aluminum removal or planar deprocessing. Electrical Instrumentation programming or usage for control systems including Functional Test Engineering systems from Verigy, Teradyne, Advantest supporting scan and ATPG testing. Optoelectrical systems operation Including InGaAs and advanced spatial resolution Photon Emissions detectors and NIR Laser Scanning Microscopes and SIL imaging as applied to advanced CMOS Photon emissions analysis. Required Bachelor's Degree At least 1 year experience in Apply Knowledge of Semiconductor Device Physics English: Fluent Additional information The Project supports 300mm SOI/Bulk semiconductor process development and Customer / Product yield learning activities.
