Job Title: Senior - IT Application Analyst

Domestic and some overseas overnight travel: 10%
Compensation: Salary of $70k - $90k + Bonus (target 8%)

Group Info:
Be part of the IT Group at their operations headquarters in Evansville, IN. This department is responsible for all non-ERP business applications at worldwide locations in 35 countries with 9 professionals. This position reports to the department Associate Director, who in turn reports to the CTO.
Note 1: This is a senior position with emphasis on the business side for project/technical management with some hands on web technologies / Java development work. This position will manage service provider relationships (US and/or offshore).
Note 2: This Group is responsible for around 85 applications (many on a global basis) for various functional areas such as HR/Payroll, legal, manufacturing/supply chain, product life cycle management for R/D, sales/marketing – CRM, contact manager for call center, LIMS for labs, etc
Note 3: The client is willing to consider candidates needing H1-B transfer only if they are in long term, permanent positions with technical leadership. They will not consider consultant type candidates with short term projects.
Job Description:
40%: Perform Web Technology / Java development work.
20%: Service Provider Management (US and/or Offshore Resource Management at service provider IBM in India
20%: Application Support and Project Management. Interface with internal clients.
20%: Develop Best Practices to be deployed globally.
Candidate Must Have:
· BS degree in a Technical or Business field
· Minimum 3 years of experience with IT systems.
· Minimum 1 year of hands on experience with Web Technologies / Java development.
· Excellent people, project, and communication skills. Able to interface effective with internal customers, external consultants and service providers.
Candidate Nice to Have:
· MS degree in a Technical field.
· Experience dealing with offshore service providers, especially in India.
· Experience in any FDA regulated industry such as food, pharmaceutical, medical device, etc.
· Experience with FDA CFR 21 Part 11 computer system validation
