Senior Account Exec
o Developing new business opportunities, maintaining and adding growth and value to the business of the Company
o Identify and manage client requirements
o Planning, constructing and executing solutions to clients` or potential clients` needs; managing relationships with and servicing existing and potential clients and underwriters, all in a manner that contributes to the efforts of the Section to meet and exceed its targets.
o Negotiating insurance contracts with underwriters, and developing and placing profitable business
o Plan and coordinate renewal strategies
o Monitor and report development, trends and issues in the client relationship
o Educate clients and manage client expectations through market, insurance and sector briefings
o Coordinate and manage client and placement records
o Preparing market submissions and placing documentation
o Maintaining clear, accurate and comprehensive files reflecting the transactions undertaken on behalf of clients
o Providing support to producers-brokers within the International section Carrying out such projects and other duties and tasks as may from time to time be required
o Sufficient knowledge and understanding of the relevant aspects of the Law of Agency and the Law of Contract to be able to perform the Principal Tasks
o Sufficient knowledge and understanding of the general concepts of insurance to be able to perform the Principal Tasks
o Good working knowledge of the underwriters and markets in which the Non-Marine Division trades; and their practices, documentation and customs
o Good working knowledge of the UK regulatory requirements, and of relevant insurance and regulatory requirements in other jurisdictions, as they affect the business of the International Section
o Good working knowledge of legal and jurisdictional requirements in relevant territorial limits
o Maintaining up to date knowledge of current market practices
o Knowledge of International policy wording
