Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant - Manufacturing
The primary function Staff Accountant will be to support the President in running the day-to-day business as well as serving as liaison to the client’s executive committee in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparation, control and verification of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational management reporting.
- Perform all A/P and A/R transactions.
- Perform payroll and 401k transactions.
- Perform all bookkeeping.
- Coordinate with CPA for all tax reporting and payment.
· Proper valuation and control of inventories.
· Analysis and control of costs.
· Preparation of budgets, financial plans and forecasts.
· Analysis of variances from financial plans, forecasts and budgets.
· Risk management, including credit.
· Assist with internal sales, including price setting and quotation preparation.
· Analysis and preparation of the Capital Budget including all ROI analyses.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA preferred)
· 5+ years of progressive managerial accounting experience preferably with a manufacturing company.
· 3+ years’ experience in capital and financial planning.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency with an ERP system as well as Quickbooks.
· International experience preferred.
