Senior Accountant – City Centre – 75k – FS recruitment
Large financial services company has a new vacancy within their finance department for a senior financial accountant.
The ideal candidate will previously have worked in banking and have extensive costing experience. This is a key role within the Finance function and only the highest caliber candidates will be considered.
Key competencies
bull; Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA/ CPA)
bull; At least 7 years experience (banking experience desirable)
bull; Proven ability to successfully deliver results
bull; Excellent interpersonal skills who is keen to work as part of a strong team
Responsibilities
bull; Assume control of elements of the monthly management reporting process
bull; Assisting the Senior manager in the preparation of the group management accounts
bull; Preparing and reviewing a range of GL account reconciliations
bull; Enhancement of processes and procedures at the outset
bull; Drive automation of outputs
bull; Dealing with financial accounts queries from external parties
Please note that this is originally a 12 month contract with a view to extension.
