Senior Accountant/ Financial Controller
Luxembourg Investment Solutions S.A. is a truly independent management company providing full management company services to Luxembourg-domiciled funds with a main focus on alternative investment structures. Because of our ongoing growth we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant/ Financial Controller for our alternative, corporate fund structures in particular our Private Equity Funds. In this position you are responsible for a large range of services such as accounting, financial controlling, financial reporting and liaising with external authorities, advisors and auditors.

Your main responsibilities
Ø Dealing with the general accountancy of two legal entities: processing and booking of purchase and sales invoices, execution of payments, management of accounts receivables and accounts payables, reconciliation balances, fixed assets and miscellaneous bookings
Ø Preparation and filling of the corporate statements, tax returns and annual audits
Ø Responsibility for the controlling and filing of statutory financial accounts (Lux Gaap / IFRS) and other corporate level tax returns
Ø Prepare and monitor quarterly and annual budgets
Ø Maintaining primary relationship with local or other European service providers with respect to the entities held in Luxembourg or other European countries
Ø Contact with the local authorities to ensure compliance of investments under management in Luxembourg
Ø Keeping abreast with accounting standards, whether Luxembourg GAAP, German GAAP, IFRS or other that may be needed depending on the structure of the investments
Ø Liaise with the accounting firms and auditors in the respective countries
Ø Coordinate financial reporting process
Ø Participate to the quarterly reporting process to the Company´s investors
Ø Follow-up on the cash management process
Ø In addition to the daily and monthly business requirements, the role will also include liaising with external auditors, tax advisors and project management
Your Profile
Ø Fluent written and spoken in German (mandatory) and English (additional European languages would be an advantage)
Ø Bachelor / University Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance, Economics or in Law
Ø Excellent handling of MS Office applications in particular Excel
Ø Advanced Excel skills is a must
Ø At least 3 years of work experience in the field of Finance / Accounting, from financial/ banking sector
Ø Strong knowledge in IFRS/ Lux GAAP and Germany GAAP
Ø Experience in BCL/ CSSF reporting would be a plus
Ø Experience in financial analysis
Ø Excellent Communication Skills
Ø Strong team player
Ø Must be highly organized and detail / efficiency orientated
Ø Must have initiative to constantly improve processes
Ø Ability to prioritize issues at a company level
Ø Good understanding of operational controls framework
