At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we have an opportunity available for a Senior Accountant at our corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ.
• Manage the accounting, tracking and reporting requirements related to enterprise-wide investment spending.
• Work with Corporate FPA, Field Finance and Fixed Asset team to ensure effective control and reconciliation of all related investment spending.
• Participate in month-end closing and forecast process related to enterprise-wide initiatives
• Leverage PeopleSoft Essbase to report out monthly spending and variance results
• Perform ad hoc accounting analysis and due diligence as required.
Qualifications:
• BS in Accounting
• CPA is a plus
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel
• Experience with PeopleSoft financial systems is desirable; Experience with Hyperion Essbase is a plus.
• Core understanding of and demonstrated experience with accounting practices and processes
• Knowledge of and experience in collaborating with other departments such as Accounts Payable and Procurement
• Experience with capital tracking expenditure approval and processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
