Senior Accountant
Professional perspectives, one of Denver’s leading executive recruitment and staffing firms is assisting a construction client in their search for a strong Accounting Lead/ Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities:
· This individual will be provide accounting support for both the internal financial accounting teams, as well as work on governmental audit and accounting work.
· This individual will be a leader within the accounting team in the areas of Month end close, Cost and project accounting for government projects, assisting with Governmental Audits, and assist with systems and processes.
Skills:
· The successful individual will be responsible to review and provide feedback on staff work.
· Candidates must have prior experience working with FAR/CAS for governmental contracts, preparing incurred cost submissions, and must have prior exposure to governmental audits, including dealing with challenged costs, accounting system and financial capability reviews, as well as facilitation post award audits.
