We have an opening for a Senior Accountant.  This position will be located in Hollywood, CA.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

·         Prepare necessary weekly financial reports to present to departmental heads, producers, etc. (Sales reporting 2010 sales vs. 2011 sales, Projected vs. Delivered, etc.)

·         Prepare and present current PL, accrual, sales by medium to departmental heads bi-weekly.

·         Interface with and present required financial reports (accrual, revenue, forecast reports, etc.) to corporate accounting department.

·         Implement job costing for projects and present financial snapshots to monitor profitability.

·         Month-end closing responsibilities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.

·         Process vendor invoices for accounts payable and reconcile weekly.  

·         Independently track POR/Invoice status.  Reconcile on a monthly basis.

·         Issue PO’s for outside vendors.  (Includes cross checking budget line items to ensure invoice ties to budget.)

·         Monthly credit card reconciliation including making sure all card holders submit all receipts and proper coding for each transaction.

·         Weekly meetings with all producers to ensure all job information is current, to get scope of work for jobs, etc.

·         Manage and maintain pitch schedule for content/advanced content.

·         Manage petty cash for department.

·         Manage employee expense reports and submit as necessary.
