Senior Accountant
High growth, mid-sized, multinational Manufacturer is seeking a hands-on, process driven Senior Accountant to join their MetroWest based team! This progressive, cutting-edge company has nearly doubled their revenue in the last 2 years, and this is a great opportunity for a 5-7+ year Senior Accountant with hands-on experience with large ERP systems to gain exposure to all aspects of the business and grow along with this successful market leader!
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the month-end close, consolidated financial statements, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will also support forecasting activities, prepare ad hoc financial analyses, develop, implement and maintain effective policies, procedures and internal controls, and continually identify opportunities to improve processes and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience within a sizeable, international company. Manufacturing and/or Public Accounting experience desired.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and significant exposure to large ERP systems. SAP strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with internal controls and process improvement.
- Well-developed business acumen along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
