Senior Accountant Job in New York, New York Us

An Entertainment Company located in New York City has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant who will handle the following responsibilities:

 

- Assist in consolidation of subsidiary general ledgers

- Prepare consolidating and consolidated financial statements along with elimination
journal entries
- Prepare and maintain key accounting/finance documentation
- Examine and review various financial schedules received from
subsidiaries
- Full accounting responsibility for all holding companies and finance
companies in general ledger system, including general ledger maintenance,
recording transactions, accruals and adjustments in general ledger, and
running queries/researching past transactions
- Consolidation of subsidiary disclosure information for SEC and other
reporting requirements
- Monitor holding companies' cash, investment, and debt accounts
- Prepare related supporting schedules and cash reconciliations

 

We are searching for candidates that meet the following requirements:

 

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA a preferred

- 4+ years experience

- Advance Excel and Oracle system knowledge

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
