Multi-billion dollar manufacturing client located in the western suburbs is seeking a Sr. Accountant to be responsible for the timely and quality completion of accounting and finance activities. Duties include:
- Month-end closing activities
- Support consolidation accounting
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Financial budgeting and forecasting activities
- General ledger activities and analysis
- Prepare management reports
- Cash management
- Inter-company reconciliation activities
- Assist with year-end financial audit
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-7 years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Strong analytical skills
- High proficiency in MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
