Job Description

As the Senior Accountant with the team you will work closely with the Financial Controller and have responsibility for:

• Managing a team of two staff including performance development,
• Reviewing and approving the work of your direct reports,
• Ultimately responsibility for the month end process for the Australian business, including accruals and journals, review of costs, commentary for senior management,
• Validating and submitting reports into SAP,
• Working with the commercial teams on project spend reviews, and
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by Financial Controller.

The Successful Applicant

As the most suitable person for the role you will ideally have strong technical experience in the areas highlighted and a proven track record within the FMCG industry. Above average communication skills and a proven track record of dealing with stakeholders of all levels of business as well as staff management experience are essential attributes needed for this position. Knowledge of SAP and Excel experience will also put you in a strong position for consideration.
