Senior Accountant, Project Advisory recruitment
My client is a family owned assets group who own an extensive portfolio of Property, Land and Hospitality interests across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
With impressive offices in Mayfair, they are the European Branch of a prominent Middle Eastern family.
Due to an ever-expanding portfolio they are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to provide independent analysis and commentary on a broad range of current and proposed projects.
You will be responsible for doing the due diligence on proposed projects as well as working closely with Project Heads and Site Managers to ensure existing project budgets are closely monitored.
This is a high profile, commercial role where your analysis and recommendations will have direct impact on the company’s strategic direction.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience. You will have a proven track record in Project Accounting having seen large-scale developments through to completion. Exposure to deals within the Hospitality industry would be preferable.
In additional to the Project Accounting skills, due diligence and evidence of presenting recommendations in lay mans terms is also required.
Whilst not essential, an understanding of the cultural differences of doing business in the Middle East, along with Arabic language capabilities would be preferred. Frequent travel at short notice within the Middle East and Europe will be expected but also rewarded.
