Senior Accountant/Analyst Job in Oceanside 11572, New York US
Newly created position with growing company in Nassau County.
In this role you will work closely with CFO and Controller on projects tied to:
Operational optimization, retail pricing, margin evaluation, sales force productivity, purchasing costs, Internal controls, systems and processes.
Perform monthly closing activities including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliation, and financial system maintenance
Perform financial reporting, planning, budgeting, inventory valuation and reconciliations.
Requirements:
BS in Accounting or Finance
CPA desirable
2 ? 6 years of relevant progressive accounting experience ? may include public accounting and/or manufacturing / distribution business
Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
Strong analytical, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Ability to interact with all levels of management and interact with all departments
Ability to multi-task
