Senior Accounting Analyst / Consultant (Derivative Analytics) recruitment
Ability to quantitatively analyze derivative financial information. Ensure quantitative hedge accounting relationships are correctly set up and maintained. Troubleshoot and debug qualified hedge accounting quantitative data and analysis.
Create, run, and maintain complex financial models and processes in Pyramid, Access, Excel, and Matlab utilizing VBA, SQL, C and similar programming languages. Deep understanding of quantitative methods (e.g., ANOVA), financial programs and applications, coding and debugging. Ability to run ANOVA and LSLR and interpret statistical results.
Reconcile financial statements and reports. Provide production support, ad-hoc requests and management reports. Systems include Excel, Access, SQL Server, Matlab, Murex, Pyramid, CAMRA, PSGL, DRMS etc. Ability to reconcile reports in Excel and reconcile data items in various accounting production systems.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Fixed Income securities (valuation) and Derivatives.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty (Finance or Quantitative discipline), prefer Master’s degree and/or advanced certification (CFA, FRM etc.) and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to officer/head of a unit/department.
