Senior Accounting Assistant
My client is a highly respected business, with many years of success within their highly competitive sector. They have a skilled and knowledgeable workforce that is committed to providing a high quality and personal service to their customers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accounting Assistant to the business. Based in Great Yarmouth the successful candidate will report directly to the finance manager and should possess the following experience:
• Posting cheques and credit card receipts to sales ledger
• Paying in cheques
• Uploading notifiable sales invoices credit
• Posting charges
• Reconciling advance
• Raising credit notes as requested by various parts of business
• Providing copy invoices and dealing with other customer queries
• Following up customer request for credit notes with other parts of the business
• Reconciling total receipts raising road show invoices, and posting to sales ledger
• Raising online invoices and posting to sales ledger (outstanding)
• Posting purchase ledger invoices and credit notes
• Reconciling purchase ledger accounts to customer statements
• Supplier payments
Ideally you will be AAT qualified or nearing qualification. Additionally you will have an enthusiastic “can do” attitude which will combine with a personality which will suit the culture of this business.
This is a great opportunity with the strong possibility of a permanent role after a 3 month period.
