Position Description
Senior Accounting Manager
Growing publicly traded company in the Phoenix metro area is searching for a strong Accounting Manager to join their accounting group. This position will have responsibility over revenue and expense accounting functions, general ledger accounting and month-end close, and have significant interaction with the audit group, SOX compliance group, and financial planning and analysis.
The ideal candidate for this role will either be a manager or senior manager in public accounting, or someone who is a CPA currently managing a mid-sized team of professional staff and senior accountants in a public company.
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA required
-3-7+ years of Big 4 or large regional accounting experience required
-2+ years of management experience
-Full cycle revenue experience required, including accounts receivable analysis
-Strong systems experience required, including exposure to Great Plains, Oracle, SAP, or JDE
