The Role
Working with the head of the business and distribution teams, you will be responsible for strategic and tactical focus of the distribution channels that support the acquisition, activation and retention of members.
You will also focus on developing a deep understanding of the segments of the target market and develop acquisition strategies to engage and acquire members within those segments
Success in this role is dependent on maintaining high acquisition levels through bank and other channels, increasing the overall activation rate of acquired members. You will also maintaining strong ties with the distribution channels and ensuring they have the sales tools and support to drive their channel targets and objectives
Skills Experience
- 10 years experience in the financial services industry, sales, marketing and/or product background
- Demonstrated track-record in an operational or leadership role within a financial services distribution team, ideally across multiple channels.
- Proven experience within a direct sales business with demonstrated results a strong advantage.
- A strong understanding of customer segmentation, customer analytics and campaign management and how they relate to strategic selling
- Experience in building and leveraging data analytics to manage and enhance acquisition and retention.
- Deep knowledge of the superannuation industry, the competitive landscape, member needs and all legislation/regulations impacting the superannuation industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of current market conditions, members factors impacting business performance and competitor performance products
