Senior Actuarial Analyst
The Company
My client is a well established, highly regarded World Wide Insurance provider based in the CBD of Sydney, who is currently seeking Re-insurance Actuary specialists. This is a highly regarded role and you would be working within the corporate sector of the business.
About the Role
This role will see you being responsible for improving operations of the actuarial control cycle, based on the established primary responsibilities of Reinsurance’s outstanding claim provision. The successful applicant will ideally have experience dealing with clients and business contacts both within and outside Reinsurance to assist in the delivery of projects
About You
- My client is looking for an experienced Consultant in the Re-insurance and Actuary division with 5+ years experience
- Degree level qualified in Actuarial Sciences
- 3+ years general insurance experience.
- SAS or Database programming skills would be desirable.
- International experience particularly in the Singapore market would be highly regarded.
In the role you would be responsible for – but not limited to
- Managing Outstanding Claim Provisions.
- Advise valuation results to management team.
- Keep abreast of statutory requirements and valuation developments
- Carry out full valuation that occurs at half yearly interval
