Senior Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities:
 

•  Apply advanced level of mathematical, statistical and actuarial methods in capital modeling.
•  Develop and maintain an internal capital model that is consistent with the Solvency II requirements.
• Using actuary expertise to perform experience studies, exposure analyses, risk profiling, profitability analyses, asset and liability matching, financial and market research.
• Providing actuarial support to company’s projects.
• Using tools to price and evaluate reinsurance structures from an actuarial perspective.
• Assisting in responding to client inquiries and concerns; resolving issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelor degree majoring in Actuarial sciences, mathematics or statistics is required.
• Candidates who are actively pursuing professional certification with internationally recognized actuarial institutions (IOA, IAA or CAS) preferred.
• At least 5 years general insurance actuarial experience in an insurance, reinsurance, broking or consulting firm.
• Creative and well-rounded self-starters who have both the qualitative and quantitative aptitude to excel in a challenging and highly competitive environment.
• Superior analytical, research and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong computer application skills, specifically Excel and Access
• Keen attention to detail
• Able to communicate in Asian languages.
