Senior Advertising Sales Executive Job in Manchester City Centre, North West UK
Our client is a renowned events and communications company within the public sector.Continued growth means they wish to strengthen their sales team by appointing Professional Sales Executives.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Researching potential clients and gaining knowledge of the marketplace
· Tele-marketing -- Making initial contact with targets to assess needs
· Maintain and update client CRM database
· Spot potential opportunities and formulate targeted sales plans
· Develop creative proposals in response to client enquiries
· Assist with tender responses
· Assist with face-to-face sales pitches
Personal Skills
To be considered for this role, you must have proven sales experience, including B2B sales and new business. You must also have a proven track record of generating your own leads and dealing with clients at Director level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Essential Skills/Experience
We are looking for a consummate sales professional - You may well have a background in telesales and have then progressed to direct sales. Certainly your written skills will complement your verbal powers of persuasion and tenacity. Overall you will exude confidence, be commercially astute andenjoy playing a crucial role in a successful company. Ideally you will have experience of the events/conferences industry or perhaps marketing communications/advertising or service industries.
