Senior AIX & Linux Administrator recruitment
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to operate in complex, highly-secure, and highly-available, operations environments and interact with the technology domain experts required to maintain those environments
This position requires a candidate with strong hands on technical engineer professional with business acumen
Responsible for mentoring junior team members, developing ITIL procedures and best practices standards
Work with other Engineering Disciplines to develop Service Based Reference Architectures that can be offered as services to our customers
This position requires a dynamic, hard-working and ambitious individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Candidates will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and have experience working in large enterprise operational environments
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
In Depth experience with at least 2 or the 3 following OS:
AIX 6.1
RedHat Linux 5
In-depth experience with Veritas Foundation suite HA including VCS, GCS, and Veritas Foundation Suite
Hardware experience across the Sun or IBM product lines, or corresponding experience across x86 hardware deployments involving RHEL.
Ability to conduct operational acceptance turnover meetings
Ability to write technical design and build documentations for all aspects of a technical infrastructure
Ability to integrate content from other domain areas and construct final technical design documents
