A senior developer is needed for a reputable brokerage in the city. Our client prides itself in delivering the highest quality institutional liquidity and market-leading execution services, measurement tools, and the provision of proprietary data. The role is senior in nature and will eventually be accountable for a team of 5, taking responsibility for the Equities Electronic Trading team building algorithms.
Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for the design of the algorithmic application suite in C# (server and client side) on UNIX and Windows platforms, as such you must have a practical knowledge of trading systems within a front office environment
• Participate in the development and testing of algorithmic support tools
• Maintain close collaboration with the development and business groups in US and internationally
• Provide second line support for Algorithmic Trading applications used by across all European trading activity and that of its clients
The Candidate will have:
• A demonstrable track record of building high availability C# server and GUI component development on both Unix and Windows
• Proven track record in delivering complex software projects on-time in a demanding and ever changing environment
• Have generated a high level of customer satisfaction through commitment to service excellence, adding value to build an environment of continuous performance improvement
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and influencing experience and a flexible approach to work
• The desire to take initiative and be accountable to meeting deadlines and delivering quality results
