Senior AML Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Provided direct team management for the AML Team (3/4 reports)
- Ensure that the business units/lines are in compliance with the UK/Regional AML regulations, policies and best practices.
- Where appropriate, deputise for the MLRO
- Conduct training to business units/team heads/individuals
- Ensure that all suspicious transactions are immediately investigated, documented and reported to SOCA and the MLRO
- Ensure all business partners are made aware of changes to requirements/Policy to ensure that they comply with the appropriate laws and regulations
- Actively participate within related projects and provide clear representation for the UK team at business led initiatives, represent the UK Team at various industry forums on KYC etc.
- Contribute as required to the Global AML Controls Programme
Essential Experience
Proven small team leadership/mentoring/training etc.
Proven, in-depth AML subject matter knowledge
Previous Private Wealth Management and Asset management experience is essential
Proven senior stakeholder engagement education etc.
